Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the market trough when the major global stock markets had the bleakest day of the great recession. Today is another ominous anniversary. Exactly 10 years ago, the Nasdaq Composite Index, a largely technology-focused stock index, closed at an all-time high of 5048.62.
